Ceramic Coating

A thin, hard, clear layer that bonds to the clear coat and then cures. It is what makes water bead and run off, and what stops dirt keying into the surface, so washing takes less work and leaves fewer marks behind.

What A Coating Will Not Do

  • It will not stop a stone chip. That is what paint protection film is for.
  • It will not undo swirls. Anything left in the paint is sealed in under it.
  • It does not make a car self cleaning. It makes cleaning it quicker and safer.

Just finished my third car with Vanta Dylan and Mel are amazing. Their passion for cars really shine pun intended. Ive attached some photos from my freshly detailed vehicles. Mind you, these cars are pushing a decade old and they look this good after the detailing. I can't do this review justice, but I am hoping the photos would!   • No. Under Australian consumer law your new car warranty stays intact when logbook servicing is carried out to the manufacturer's schedule using the correct specification parts and fluids. It does not have to be done by the dealership. Your logbook is stamped, which is the record that matters for warranty and resale.

  • No, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. A coating is a chemical layer measured in microns. It improves gloss, chemical resistance and how easily the car cleans, and it resists light marring, but it will not stop a stone off a truck. Paint protection film is the answer for physical impact.

  • Victoria sets a minimum light transmission of 35 percent for the front side windows, and 20 percent for the rear side windows and rear windscreen. The windscreen itself can only carry a strip along the top. The limits are confirmed against the current rules before your car is cut.

  • Two buckets, a clean mitt, a pH neutral shampoo, and top to bottom. Avoid automatic brush washes entirely, because they will mar a coated finish exactly as they would mar bare paint. You can always call and ask if you are unsure.
